Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!
This weeks new theme is Scents!
Pretty soon we will be having a change of seasons,
some to Spring and others to Autumn.
Both of these will change the smell in the air.
Do you enjoy the crispness of Autumn or
the sweet allure of Spring?
I really enjoy either one.
They are both my favorite seasons of the year.
I also enjoy the scent of so many different kinds of food.
Fresh food, vegetables or fruit, so wonderful.
Or cookies baking in the oven,
and food cooking on the stovetop.
But I think my favorite scent is the smell of
a baby just after taking a bath.
They smell so clean and so fresh.
I love to smell my grandchildren as I dry them off.
Nothing smells better.

DeleteMine started out just to be about the scents, but I couldn't imagine the scents without recalling other things and well, the muse took it from there.
ReplyDeleteI know that little muse creature sometimes just totally takes over. I usually start out where I think I am going to do it one way and when I am done it has totally gone into another direction. Yes, once the muse takes over, the muse does what the muse wants.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great theme you've chosen. Scents have always been a big part of my life. I can smell a certain scent and go back in time. I do the same thing with music. When I hear a certain song, I can tell you what I was doing and who I was with. It's crazy isn't it? I loved your explanation of your grandchildren's smell after a bath. That is the best.
