Theme Thursday for January 31, 2013 - CHOCOLATE

CHOCOLATE
source

This week's new theme is CHOCOLATE!

What can I say?
Chocolate is the most important food on the pyramid.
I think we all know that to be true.
It is our most important ingredient that provides variety,
which is an important spice of life.
This makes chocolate a spice!
I love my sense of reasoning, don't you?

I also love to listen to the wee wittle ones say the word chocolate.
I notice that when I say it I somehow just say choklit,
almost like chalk lit.
While the wee wittle ones actually pronounce each syllable.
They almost sound like they are speaking "French",
but then they are bilingual and speak Spanish.
It is amazing to watch them switch from English to Spanish
as if it is the easiest thing to do.

Having once been able to speak Spanish I do understand
a lot of what they say but not all.
I was lucky in a way because my grandparents all learned English,
the wee wittle ones are now lucky because a grandmother did not.

Anyway, I just wish you could hear them say the word chocolate.
It sounds like music and just flows off their tongues.
Just the most beautiful word one could hear,
or eat.

So what do you think about Chocolate?
Do you like dark chocolate or milk chocolate?
Or just about any kind of chocolate?
Maybe you are one of the few people in the world who dislike chocolate!
Although I am not sure how anyone can dislike chocolate.

Please come back on Thursday
and let us know what you think about chocolate.
Thanks again,
Mrsupole

  1. I like chocolate in any form, of any kind. It's one of my weaknesses.

    1. Hi Leovi,

I know exactly what you mean. I've never met a piece of chocolate that I did not like. Definitely one of my weaknesses too.

      God bless.

    1. Oh if only they made a chocolate that was able to make us lose weight. The person or company would be the richest in the world. And we would be a world of skinny people. But I am with you in who cares what it does when we eat it. It has health benefits and that is good enough for me. As long as we eat it in moderation then we should be okay.

      God bless.

  5. I'll post my "chocolate" theme tomorrow, Sat, 1/02: GROUNDHOG DAY

One has nothing to do with the other. No chocolate groundhogs or anything like that.

    1. Hi Cali Girl,

I just got mine posted and so anytime is fine. I upgraded to the Windows 8 and I am having a really hard time trying to figure everything out. They need to have a manual that we can print out or at least one that we can visit. I cannot even figure out how to shut my laptop off. And all my passwords that I cannot remember are lost along with a lot of other things. I am not sure I ever want to do that upgrade thing again. I did not know that quite so much would be lost.

So I will be by to visit everyone later on tonight if I can find my way back to here again.

Oh and if we had chocolate groundhogs then it would really be a different kind of groundhog day. We would definitely be hogging those things down and they would be hiding in the ground. LOL

      God bless.

    1. I hate going to shop at malls because I cannot get past a chocolate shop without stopping in and then you get those free samples and I always end up buying something. I think chocolate is in it's own food category.

      God bless.

    1. Hi Kalyan,

I am always amazed at how talented some people are when they take pictures of food. Whoever took it did a great job of making us all want some.

      God bless.
