What's Cooking?

This weeks new theme is What's Cooking!

All right I will admit it, I am turning into a Pinterest fanatic!

Well at least as far as looking at recipes and pictures of food.

And oh do they have some interesting things on there.

Food for just about everyone.

But this is not really a theme about food,

Because there can be a lot of things cooking.

Although you could make it a theme about cooking food,

it is mostly meant to be a theme

about what ideas do you have floating around

in your imagination.

I guess I could have called this theme "Imagination"

but you know with seeing all those food pictures,

well what was I supposed to do.

Food is on my mind,

but then I have a lot of things on my mind.

One of them is why sometimes I think I have 

totally picked an awesome theme that 

everyone will be able to come up with so many ideas,

and then it just seems like everyone has a hard time with it.

Then other times I am not sure how that theme will work

and everyone goes crazy writing the most awesome things.

So for this week I think maybe  

I should ask if anyone would like to leave me some

ideas, for future themes you might have

floating around in your imagination, in the comments section.

And then let your imagination go anywhere 

your heart desires and cooks up for this weeks theme.
Food posts are totally cool or should I say hot?

AFTERNOON DELIGHTS

This weeks new theme is Afternoon Delights!

Okay, now get your head out of the gutter,

or keep it there if you want.

I guess an afternoon delight can be a lot of things

to different people,

a nap, a tea party, a nap,

a birthday party, a nap, an afternoon watching TV,

a nap, having an early dinner, another nap.

Yes, I need to get my head out of "nap" zone,

but I am an insomniac and naps are good.

Theme Thursday for September 13, 2012 - CONVERSATIONS

CONVERSATIONS

This weeks new theme is CONVERSATIONS!

Where would we be without conversations?
I mean I have conversations all the time.
Mostly they are between me, myself, and I,
at least until Hubby comes home.

And then I have conversations with other people.
Some conversations I enjoy
and then others not so much.
You know the ones with a doctor,
or the ones with a computerized program.

Have you had one of those conversations?
Some voice wants you to
repeat what you want from the list
it has just conversed to you in a robotic voice.
Then you repeat the one you want
and it never understands you, so it sends you
to a place you do not want to go.
And do they let you talk to a human,
hell no, or not until you have exhausted every option.
These conversations suck.

Theme Thursday for September 6, 2012 - TEMPTATION

TEMPTATION



Well I was tempted to go with a racier version of a Temptation
but I had to share this since I laugh each time I see it.
(Okay, after you watch the video and click on the pic in the lower right corner,
well then you will see some racier temptations.)

I was tempted to do it now, but thought I better wait.

Come on admit it,
are you ever tempted?

Just tempted to do something you know you
should not,
something you know you will get in
trouble for if you get caught!

Are you ever tempted?
Tempted to do something good,
but afraid what will happen if you get caught?

Funny how temptation works that way.
Darned if we do and darned if we don't.

We are tempted to do good and bad things,
but do we do them,
well you tell me.
