CONFUSION

This weeks new theme is Confusion!

Sometimes we get confused and sometimes we are confusing.
Sometimes confusion is in front of us,
and other times we just think we see confusion.
But then again there are those who enjoy
totally confusing those around them,
and then those who want to escape the confusion.

Okay, so now that we are all
totally confused with all this confusion,
I hope you will come back on Thursday
and
tell us what confuses you
or what causes confusion within your life,
your brain, or writing.

And now I am totally confused with
all the confusion that I am confusing
myself with.

CONNECTIONS

This weeks new theme is Connections!

Connections are needed by all life.
Without connections we have no life.
And without a connection how is anyone supposed
to talk on a phone, uh duh, and then
connection on the internet is necessary for us to
communicate here.

My favorite connection is a smile,
I think no other connection says more.
And leaving comments is a connection.

Theme Thursday for July 19, 2012 - Distractions

DISTRACTIONS

This weeks new theme is Distractions!

Are you easily distracted?
I do not know about you but I am.
I start doing one thing and end up doing another.
Or I am trying to do too many things,
and end up doing nothing.

As a child growing up,
I think our only electronic things around
were a radio, a black and white television,
and a record player.
Come to think of it that's all we had when
I got married.

When I was in college we had a computer,
it took up the whole basement floor
of the largest building on campus.
We were so excited because it played
multilevel Tic, Tac, Toe with us.
Okay, well we had to move the pieces to
the spots it gave us and then we had to input
where we put our pieces.
Seriously, it was so exciting and a crowd would gather
round the keyboard and
we, as a group, would try to beat it.
I think we rarely won and sometimes it was a tie game.
We learned who was smarter.

Now we have PC's, smartphones, TV's with remotes,
game systems and more.
Kitchen gadgets that practically cook for us.
Satellites, airplanes and helicopters fill up the skies.

So many distractions that I am getting distracted
thinking about trying to list them.

Theme Thursday for July 12, 2012 - Inspiring Things

Inspiring Things

This weeks new theme is Inspiring Things!

Do you see inspiring things each day?

Do you even recognize an inspiring thing?

Do we do anything with it once we are inspired?

Do you wake up and hop out of bed, hurry to get ready to start your day?

Or do you hit the snooze button and roll over

trying to get some extra sleep, knowing you won't.

Does the smell of coffee inspire you to get going?

I think I have become so forgetful that I may see something

that inspires me and a few minutes later totally forget it.

But then again I just get inspired a few minutes later,

at least I think so.

I must get inspired a lot each day.

So let's find out for this weeks Theme Thursday,

LIFE'S UNCERTAINTIES

This weeks new theme is Life's Uncertainties!

Life is truly a miracle for each and everyone one of us.
We bring a new one into this world constantly.
And we say "Goodbye" almost but not as quickly.
We may have great health
or
we may have crappy health.
We may have a long or short life,
A happy or sad life,
A rich or poor life.

We may find someone to love for a lifetime
or
a day, an hour, or maybe we keep looking,
never finding our one true love.

Some of us end up with great families,
others, not so great.

We are born with a life full of uncertainty
but
we are also born with a very special thing.

We are born with an ability to laugh.

Life might be uncertain,
but laughter brightens each day.
