Theme Thursday for December 6, 2012 - IMAGINATION

IMAGINATION

This weeks new theme is IMAGINATION!

I am not sure why songs keep coming to my mind after
I pick a new theme, but lately it keeps happening.
So now I have the lyrics
"Imagine all the people, living....."
going through my head.
And I swear I am hearing John Lennon singing it too.

Maybe it is being sick that is causing this to happen.
Although it does happen when I am well.
Well being a relative thing since I have not really
been well for a few years now.
So my imagination is to someday be "well".

Although I realize that anyone who writes
has to have a fairly well developed imagination.
I also sometimes think that when we are daydreaming
our imaginations are running full speed ahead.
I daydream a lot, I imagine a lot, I think a lot,
I just let my imagination run wild most of the time.

So how about you, do you let your imagination
go where it wants to go or do you try to control it.
I like mine to wander freely most of the time,
but I need to control it to a point.

I hope you will come back this Thursday
and show us where you have let your imagination go.

Thanks again,
Mrsupole

  1. Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking that I have finally gotten over the worst of it and am starting to feel a little better. So hopefully I will be visiting everyone this week and from last week.

I am hoping this is the only flu I get this year. We have been dropping like flies as each of us have gotten it. Every few days the suffering starts again. Really hard to watch the wee wittle ones get it the other day. The youngest, who is just under 2 years old, having no idea why she cannot keep her food down and crying because she is hungry and we won't let her eat. She was so happy when she finally could keep some food down today. As always I get it the worst due to my COPD but everyone is suffering.

I really would not wish this flu upon anyone but as fast as it has spread among us I know that it will be coming soon to everyone. I hope that if you get it that you please stay home. I am not sure how it spreads because we have tried to stay away from the sick ones and still caught it. But they say to stay home and away from others. Maybe we should have worn masks. Oh well, such is life.

    God bless.

  3. Terribly serious flu! I'm glad you are feeling a little better, but hope your whole family is soon out of those woods. I bring you some entertainment today which right now is two sonnets long, but it is an impromptu party which may continue for several days and inspire other stanzas and artists. The next verse may have trampolines and moon rides.

    1. Hi Susan,

Yes, I agree that this is a bad flu. I just hope it is the worst we get for this season. My hubby rarely gets sick and he was the first to get it this time. Then me and all the rest. Only one left and if he is lucky then I will be so happy.

And you really did provide some entertainment of which I am so thankful. I always appreciate everyone who joins in and plays each week. And going on another moon ride would be great. LOL

      God bless.

  4. Well, Lennon did die 32 years ago tomorrow, you know! :-) Great theme. I will be doing the rounds later.

    Greetings from London.

    1. I cannot believe it has been 32 years already. Sometimes it just seems like it was a few years ago. I was watching a special about him a few months back and it talked about how we lost so much when he died. So many songs lost and I think it was the end of an era. I remember the next day after the Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan show and if their name was mentioned some of the girls would just start to scream. It was a crazy time of which I do not think we will ever experience again.

I would love to sit down and have a cup of tea with you. I so love the thought of a proper British Tea.

      God bless.
