FAITH
This weeks new theme is FAITH!
Because of what happened this last Friday,
I can only say that we have to have some kind of
faith
to go anywhere or do anything in our daily lives.
We can each have our own faith and beliefs.
We can believe in a God or many Gods.
We can believe in no God.
We can choose a religion to believe in,
or not choose one.
But somewhere we have to have some kind of
faith.
Faith that the sun and moon will rise.
Faith that each day will begin tomorrow.
Faith that we will wake up.
Faith that we will go to sleep.
We have to have some kind of faith,
whether we think about it or not.
Maybe some of us do not even realize we have a faith.
The question could be, what do you put your faith into?
Do you choose other humans, do you choose a God, or something else?
So the real question is:
What do you think is the meaning of faith?
I hope you will come back on Thursday
and
tell us your thoughts about Faith?
Thanks again,
Mrsupole
We love your comments,
so go ahead and write one.
I know you want to.
Mr. Linky will be added on Wednesday Evening after 9 pm PST.

Hi Everyone,
ReplyDeleteJust had a hard time deciding on the prompt. I hope this honors those that lost their lives and is also uplifting.
God bless.
Faith, yes even those who think they don't, do in some form~
ReplyDeleteFaith is believing in someone or something or both. A conviction, a hope there is more...
Well done on this poem, but difficult to answer...
Here I go :) http://whisperingwithwords.wordpress.com/2012/12/19/march-sigh/

Hi Mrsupole! I have been away for a while and this was an excellent prompt for a comeback. Do visit n let me know what you think! :)
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteWill be by to visit everyone tonight, not sure why I am not getting well but the babies are not doing much better at getting totally well. But then they keep going places and I think bringing things back for me to catch. And the first they they do when they get back home is wanting to come see Grandma. Geez, part of me wants to say "Stay back, step away from your Grandma." but then I see their joy at seeing me and how can I not visit with them. I am so thankful to have them when I know of the loss of others. See you soon.
God bless.
I meant first "thing" they do.

Beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments you left on my blog. I respect your belief and faith, I just do not possess it myself. I genereally avoid religious discussions as no conclusions are possible and I have nothing to offer the religious as a replacement for their faith. And there is no denying that faith gives a lot of people considerable comfort; truth is immaterial in that situation. I just find that I don't need it myself.
ReplyDeleteThe exceptions are the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses — if they are willing to put themselves on my doorstep and tell me I am wrong, I am more than happy to kick a few ideas around! :-)
