CEMETERIES
Source from Pinterest.
This weeks new theme is Cemeteries!
What can I say but this time of year requires something scary.
I also think it's been a long time since we've done cemeteries.
Have you ever lived by a cemetery?
Have you played in a cemetery?
Do cemeteries scare you like they do me?
Well let's just say they have since seeing
the movie Night of the Living Dead.
Before that movie I think I had no thoughts about
them one way or another.
It was just a place for a funeral and to say "Goodbye"
to those who had died.
I have only been to a few cemeteries since that movie,
with lots of people around,
and with the cars nearby.
I'm such a chicken when it comes to cemeteries!
Are you one too?
I'm such a chicken when it comes to cemeteries!
Are you one too?
I hope you will come back this Thursday
and tell us your "Cemetery" stories.
Thanks again,
Mrsupole

I didn't go the spooky route...your prompt spoke to me in other ways...hope that's ok? Great prompt though, and I'm looking forward to reading!
ReplyDeleteMy first time on your challenge.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to see pics to this theme.
It has been awhile since I have entered a cemetery ... I like to look at the old stones ... but only during the daylight! :D
ReplyDeleteAh well...there are plenty of storks about " Dedst".
ReplyDeleteBut this is not. Be confused with Sysdy or Dead Sea- Red Sea- or even Dr. Crawl.
Because , if you did that, then you'd have to talk , Dr. Blood, and nobody wants to get " rather grim" when it comes to " Soul Pancakes".
Unless, of course, you like poetry and Mr. Sparrow.
who happens to like Eadiitorl Dhlihget .
In which case, You'd better talk to " Sodaypa " who love on Dana- Fredst.
But once again, do not get confused or led astray.
Because that's EXACTLY what happened to Labadgil and Tesslagun.
With thanks to Becca for a different visit and for introducing the short form of tau ku.

(Another 1st timer...)
Seems many of my poems lately are of death of one type or another. I wrote a sixling for you--I do not think I made up the form of six syllables & six lines & six stanzas. Thank you for the prompt.
ReplyDeleteInteresting cemeteries to observe the passage of time.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
They have a strange calmy effect on me....is that bad????? its where i used to drive my kids around when they were babies to get them to sleep. Hundreds or even thousands of people reside their but no one speaks.
