TEMPTATION
Well I was tempted to go with a racier version of a Temptation
but I had to share this since I laugh each time I see it.
(Okay, after you watch the video and click on the pic in the lower right corner,
well then you will see some racier temptations.)
(I will add pic later)
I was tempted to do it now, but thought I better wait.
This weeks new theme is Temptation!
Are you ever tempted?
Come on admit it,
are you ever tempted?
Just tempted to do something you know you
should not,
something you know you will get in
trouble for if you get caught!
Are you ever tempted?
Tempted to do something good,
but afraid what will happen if you get caught?
Funny how temptation works that way.
Darned if we do and darned if we don't.
We are tempted to do good and bad things,
but do we do them,
well you tell me.
Please come back on Thursday
and tell me how you handle life's temptations.
Thanks again,
Mrsupole.

Hello.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
I'm not always able to write to your prompts, but I couldn't resist a little temptation...count me in!
Thoughts Of Beauty In The Stillness Of Dawn...
Hello Andy,
DeleteHappy Sunday for you too!
I am happy I have a prompt that you can join us and write something. I look forward to enjoying and reading what you share. See you this Thursday.
God bless.
aah Mrsupole the temptation is always around yes :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you give me so much temptation with your food pictures and recipes, oh how I love them.
DeleteGod bless.
yhese kitties are so cute:)
ReplyDeleteAt first I did not get the boots thing in the video, but here I sit with my cat rubbing his head all over my feet. He loves feet and our one and a half year old granddaughter has already figured that out. If the cat is near me, she climbs into my lap, sticks out her feet so the cat will rub on her feet. Then she starts laughing and wanting to play with the cat, who then runs from her if she climbs off my lap. It is really cute to watch her do this.
DeleteGod bless.
hah! I kept waiting for the commercial to end to watch the "real" vidso. Um, yeah. I'm slow to the punch that way :). I made it in.
ReplyDeleteOh my stomach hurts from laughing at this and because I too am so slow to the punch, I had to read it three times before I actually understood what you meant about the "real" video. I just cannot stop laughing now. I never thought that someone would think there was a real video. I guess I am not too bright in that way. Still laughing, hahaha.....
DeleteOh I feel so happy right now. I love laughing at things.
God bless.

ReplyDeleteyou have already seen this one mrsu...but thought of the theme as i wrote it....be back tomorrow to see what everyone else brings...
Hi Brian,
DeleteI was thinking that this one had a lot to do with temptations and it truly is one of your greatest writes. It says so much and your wife always writes the most wonderful comments and just shows the love and this one truly does that.
As I have been reading the other comments I have noticed that most of us turned out just fine with someone saying no to our wanting the things society tempts us with. But with so many younger people thinking they are entitled to everything it is actually a good sign that there are young ones who will think they have to earn the things they would like to have. Children such as your sons are the future hope of keeping the world a better place. "No" the most important two letters of the alphabet. Ten years from now when the boys are teenagers, you will say "No" even more than you do now. You are so lucky.....
God bless.
Hello Mrsupole,
ReplyDeleteJoining the league, have already linked mine.
Thanks for all the temptations..
Good day..
Your welcome and with knowing that Disquis works to provide a comment forum for us to work with sure does help.
DeleteAnd I do hope I have tempted so many of you.
God bless.
I'm back in the game!
ReplyDeleteInteresting topic - it was the subject of my bible study group yesterday - when Jesus was tempted by the devil while fasting in the desert....My thought was that he was hallucinating because he was starving! In any case, as a recovering addict, I must stay clear of THAT kind of temptation....but I give into temptation when it comes to sweets!
ReplyDeleteHello again.
ReplyDeleteI almost forgot to linkup, but I'm in with a new one I just wrote: This Plunderous World. Looking forward to reading the other "temptations".
I made a mistake the first time I linked! Sorry! Please read Charleen 12? Or better yet, here's my response to your prompt: http://taptaptapisanybodyoutthere.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-opportunities-granted-by-faulty.html
ReplyDeleteAnd now, for something completely different, and, alas, very typical. But I console myself that it is also perfect, if from another time, economy, and place.
ReplyDeleteTempted by your theme, I've bitten the apple.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the two funny videos.
:)
I'm having a problem commenting on entry #2. I have left 2 comments, but they seems to have gone poof! Sorry almaveras. :-(
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteThanks for the additional information, Mrsupole.
DeleteUnfortunately, I do not have a Disqus Account. I did go back to almaveras blog and my second comment is now showing. ;-)
Hi Andy,
DeleteOh, I am so glad it is showing. Not sure if she changed some settings to make it easier for us. If so, then that will make it so much easier for everyone. But it is easy to get a Disquis account. I think you just go to disquis.com and set up an account, it is free to sign up.
Thanks for letting me know how things went.
God bless.
i could write a dozen poems about temptation {smile} ~ enjoyed this week's prompt very much.
