Theme Thursday for July 12, 2012 - Inspiring Things

Inspiring Things

This weeks new theme is Inspiring Things!

Do you see inspiring things each day?
Do you even recognize an inspiring thing?
Do we do anything with it once we are inspired?

Do you wake up and hop out of bed, hurry to get ready to start your day?
Or do you hit the snooze button and roll over
trying to get some extra sleep, knowing you won't.
Does the smell of coffee inspire you to get going?

I think I have become so forgetful that I may see something
that inspires me and a few minutes later totally forget it.
But then again I just get inspired a few minutes later,
at least I think so.
I must get inspired a lot each day.

So let's find out for this weeks Theme Thursday,
when you come back,
what there is that inspires you.

And if you have not visited everyone from last's Thursday's Theme,
please go back and visit.
We even have a few late entries you could visit.

See you all on Thursday with some Inspiring Stories.
Thanks again,
Mrsupole

Feedback comments about the new themes are greatly appreciated.

Mr. Linky will be added on Wednesday Evening after 9pm PST.

I totally can relate to this. I know that inspiration lurks around the corner but I can't recognize it. Sometimes we know that it's there but we tend to forget. It's so frustrating.

    1. Hi mishy,

I really wish inspiration would just step out from that corner and identify itself, then I might remember things. Frustration is so hard.

      God bless.

  2. i would gladly return comments to anyone that came in late if they actually read mine, but...sorry that is my continual struggle with those that frequent TT...the ones that do vist are those i already read every day and they read me...the others well, not so much...

    1. Yes, you are one of the best comment writers out there and very blessed to have such a loyal following which I know you have worked very hard to keep up with. I do not even know how you find the time to do it sometimes, although if I would shorten my comments and stop thinking for about an hour before I figure out what to post then I might do more. And not read it about three or four times before figuring it out too. Geez, I really do need to shorten them up. And I am a fighter and will hopefully be able to convince everyone that the whole point of a meme is to become a group who is happy visiting each other in the group. I will just keep on pushing on.

And I sure hope your mom got her electricity back on by now and so far with all the record heat I know we are still in for an even longer summer. Oh how much I want to have the cold come back.

      God bless.

    2. had left you a reply to this...somehow it got lost....

mrsu you are one of the best commentors i know...you take the time to read and leave thoughtful words...you are doing a great job...and you have to make do with what comes to you...so dont ever discount what you are doing....

last week was brutal here...and sometimes it takes that humbling for us to be truly grateful...i love the outdoors, but it def taught me appreciation of AC and the ability to cool down...

this week is wide open...anything is inspiration....it surrounds us...if we write or post a pic or do art...it was inspired by something....

    1. Hi Gloria,

Thank you so much for your very kind words and trust me your food pictures and recipes are very inspiring. My mouth drools and my stomach starts to growl with the hopes that I will be inspired to cook some food.

And you are such an inspiration to write your blog in English and Spanish which is more than most of us can do. I love all your little stories that go with the recipes. You are a brave woman to put yourself out there and post in a language other than your native tongue.

Wonderful effort that is so endearing.

      God bless.

    1. Hi AVY,

I think that NYC would inspire just about everyone. And did your mother really "do" Mick Jagger. I hope it was when he was a LOT younger.

      God bless.

    2. A very much appreciated break and would not have survived without your help, and you do inspire us all more than you think. Love you so much more than you will ever know for all you do. Such a great son to have. Hope your internet is doing better, the heat must be frying the wires. Try to stay as cool as you can.

      God bless.

  11. Thanks for the prompt complete with the questions that I found most helpful. Tee hee. Is there any rules in Theme Thursdays that we're supposed to post poetry? I'm really not a poetry kind of gal.

    1. Hi Dave,

Reminds me of that son that says "There will be days like this, my mama said." And oh if only we had the insight, then we would be healthy, wealthy, and wise.

      God bless.

  16. Hi all. I am a new member here. Please, excuse me for showing up late for this prompt. In fact, I decided not to skip it because it is a suggestive, evocative prompt the same as the other ones.
