BEDS
Picture from Sleep Number Beds (my dream bed, sigh)
This weeks new theme is BEDS!
Yup, it is "beds",
and you might be thinking that I am crazy
for choosing beds as this weeks theme
but
I do try to find a theme that can have
many different meanings and
I had no idea that there were lots
of types of beds.
The first thought that came to my mind was
the bed upon which I sleep,
and the garden bed of which I weed.
Then I thought of a bed of rocks,
and a few more types of beds.
So I looked it up and came upon this site.
There are definitely more "beds" than I knew about.
And I discovered there are quotes about beds
from famous people.
Did you know that we even put our computers to "bed"?
Although today I want to put mine in the dumpster
because it keeps freezing up for some reason
which is why my posting is this evening instead of earlier.
I hope you all find something interesting about "beds"
and come back on Thursday to share.
And many thanks to those of you who are participating
in each weeks Theme Thursday
as a community of bloggers,
who also take the time to visit
and comment on each others postings.
Thanks again,
Mrsupole
Comments are greatly appreciated.
Mr. Linky will be added on Wednesday Evening after 9pm PST.

Sounds fun :-)
ReplyDeleteMust think what is coming to mind with this prompt...
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your poem. Thanks for the prompt, which inspired this limerick: Embedded In Sleeplessness.
ReplyDeleteI hope I remember to come back for Mr. Linky. :)
Any sign of Mr Linky? I have a piece to add and I am so looking forward to reading everyone else *smile*
ReplyDeleteYay, thank you :o)
ReplyDeleteI'll be back to play! Thanks for Theme Thursday.
ReplyDeleteYay, theme Thursday! I know I very much would like to be back in my bed now.
ReplyDeleteHi Brian! I fused the bed theme with the "Square poem" over at dVerse--a happy accident. Writing the square felt like stepping from Firm Ground into Chaos, which isn't a bad feeling for the content of "Sleep Walk Talk."
ReplyDeleteMorning all, it's been a while since I participated in Theme Thursday, but I'm back this week.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those rare weeks where the theme and what was on my mind just meshed perfectly. Love the simpatico of that!
ReplyDeleteI love the beds, the bedroom is a very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteInteresting - especially the definitions!
