...must come to an end? No, not Theme Thursday, just my month of filling in for Mrsupole. I appreciated the opportunity to return to my old stomping grounds for a bit. And I appreciate all of you that participated and particularly the handful that actually was out there visiting and commenting.
This weeks theme is : All Good Things...
Take it how you will. Maybe you can thing on the things for which you are grateful. For me that would be family. Yesterday was my sons final baseball game of the season. It has been a test of endurance this year because he was on a team that really struggled.
After the game we had a cook out at a farm and got to do some horseback riding. I was sitting atop the horse and looked out over the yard where all the boys were just playing and having fun and to me that was a very good thing---that competition and skill levels did not get in the way of them just being together and enjoying the ride.
In the end they were just boys playing.
As always we are open to poetry,story, music, art, photography...whatever you would like to use to interpret the theme

ReplyDeleteThis was a challenge. Took several drafts. Not completely sure about it, but it was a fun theme to grapple with.

DeleteThank you for this theme. It is universal, it can match many poems. It happened to me today to remember my grandma and all the good things we shared when I was a child, this is my latest post.
