Theme Thursday for March 1, 2012 - REACTION

REACTION


This weeks new theme is REACTION!

Is it true that for every action there is a reaction?
Is a reaction just someone doing an action again?
Is an act and react the same as action and reaction?
Now I am totally confused as to what action, oops I mean reaction to take.

  1. you mean like...when you post and visit no one most likely people will stop coming to visit your posts? ha...being snarky mrsu--but its a shame when the host of the meme gets absolutely no comments from any of the participants...so i doubt i will be playing often but you know i will always visit you mrsu...

    1. Oh Brian,

      I have just been so sick lately and right now was trying to catch up on visiting everyone. I just cannot seem to get rid of this bug that I have caught and as I have said I do read all of your posts from my iPhone but not the best thing to leave comments, and dang it you get so damn many that I am truly never sure you read mine when I write one. Plus I have to work so hard to try to not repeat the other 100 comments written. Ha, as Betsy says. But since you are my blogging son then you know I will always love you.

      Do you know I think we have been visiting each other for over three years now. We sure have been through a lot together over the years.

      And yeah I know that people are ignoring the Opal Nation stories I actually have people who I print them out for and they read them. These people have no computer or access to the internet. Maybe some of them will take the time to read them and be surprised.

      Plus, I do get the participants to visit Mrsupole Place each week. I also think so many are doing so many memes at one posting that they cannot keep track of who they visit. I think that is why I do not join up with all those different memes and then just go around and leave a comment of "Great post or good job". You know when I leave a comment that I have read your post and then thought about an answer that shows it. I am not saying that others do not read the posts but actually letting the person know you read what they wrote is a good way of communicating you care about what they took the time to write. I know that you are one person who lets the person know you read their post and that is why you have such a following.

      I do hope you will change your mind and come back to play, you know with me being your "mom" and all. Plus I love you like no other blogger.

    1. So glad that you got that it was an action and reaction thing, not sure if anyone would.

      Although the part about me being sick is so true. I cannot seem to get rid of this bug and the weakness that comes with it. I am having my sorta good days and my not good days. So truly am working on visiting everyone at a slow pace.

  6. Hi Mrs...thanks for the prompt. Reading your replies to Brian, I hope you're feeling better today. There are some very nasty bugs around now that seem to not want to go away. Hope yours does asap for you so you feel better.

    1. Thank you so much for hoping I feel better. After a few months of being sick I am just glad to have a better day now and again. I think that since the wee wittle ones have come to live with us that I am catching every illness possible. But then when those little grandbabies give me a smile and a big hug, what can I say. Love those grandbabies and to see them everyday is such a treat, even if I have to put up with being sick. Sigh!

      I guess that every action is just a reaction to a previous reaction and then it just goes on and on, action, reaction, just an endless chain of events. Although I am not sure if we will ever know what was the first action but since then there have been nothing but reactions. Okay, now I am truly confused again.

  10. There is one thing I don´t like, it is when someone visits me, demanding me to go back. My opinion is that I choose who I visit. A comment is something that everyone appreciates, including me but I know that sometimes is not enough time to, or, as in my case, you have a computer that responds slowly and everything takes too long time. However, I always try to leave a comment. I would really also appreciate that people took away the word verification for comments.

    PS. sometimes it is difficult to comment because English is not my language, it takes very long time to find the right words, etc. DS

    1. I do see on some memes where they put that to participate you "must" visit the other participants. I guess that is kinda like demanding it. I just do not feel right in telling anyone here that they "have" to go visit each other. As you can see about the closest to that in which I have been able to get is to just say to "Please try" and hope that everyone at least tries to visit some of the other players.

      As the memes host I feel that I am the only one who should visit everyone and this is my way of saying thank you for playing. Heck I do not even complain when someone's post has nothing to do with the prompt. I am just happy anyone wants to play.

      I have seen where you visit others and it is very much appreciated.

      And I totally agree that it would be easier to post without the word verification and the await for moderation thingys added onto the comments. Sometimes I have to input the word verification 3 times before it takes and I oh so want to give up by then.

      Thank you for the better health wishes and you are amazing with your English for it not being your language. Also any words are the right words, we understand them.

    This was certainly an interesting prompt for me. I think the wide variety of options on this one turned my muse just a little bit evil! But nonetheless good practice, and I like the results.
