Happy Theme Thursday everone. I was struggling to find something suitable but then my music collection once again came to my rescue ... Rust Never Sleeps.

We were Sicilian immigrants to the United States and my father worked in the construction business so that picture really touched me. I-m following you from Trapani, Sicily.
Search Google Images for "empire state building construction workers" Absolutely hair-raising. Note . . no safety harnesses in those days. It was said that the biggest danger was sudden gusts of wind . . .

ReplyDeleteA very risky place to sleep though. But I think that they are most comfortable sleeping on that altitude.
